In the year 1990, Pastor Hope had an idea to encourage local people to provide support to those in need. Together with her then very young children, praying and reaching out to neighbours and friends, Living Way Ministries was birthed at Hampden Way N14 as an outreach and counselling support.   A sense of community was quickly established as a key component in the organisation, increasing participants and fostering recognition and support of statutory, private and many other voluntary organizations.  Volunteers increased from 5 family members to 25 adults and many young people, prompting relocation of meeting from home to All Saints’ Church Arts Center on Oakley Road South, N20 and later to Grahame Park Estate by divine purpose around June 1991.

Our volunteers have received a lot of training and support from Barnet Council, Barnet Voluntary Service Council (now CommUNITY Barnet), Department of Social Change, Barnet Chamber of Commerce and recently, from LIFE Pacific College for good practice.  Living Way Ministries has since progressed to benefit wider community, providingChildren support services, Young People’s Project, Good Neighbours activities, Community Café and Church Services to children,Young People and Their Families of all ethnicity, religion and sexual orientation.

Living Way Ministries is a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (ICFG).

The name "Foursquare" comes from "Foursquare Gospel" and refers to four aspects of Jesus' ministry:

 Jesus Christ is the Savior
             (John 3:16, Acts 4:12, Hebrews 7:25; 9:28)

Jesus Christ is the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit
              (Mark 1:8, Acts 2:4)

 Jesus Christ is the Healer
              (Matthew 11:4-6, James 5:14-15)

Jesus Christ is the Soon Coming King
              (John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
